Can you help with my headaches?

Man holding forehead from headache painAt our Twin Falls, ID, office we offer our patients a variety of solutions for dental-related headaches, including BOTOX treatment options!

The FDA approved BOTOX almost a decade ago for the treatment of migraines, one of the most severe headache phenotypes, and we have found that BOTOX works beautifully in the treatment of dental-related headaches, too.

There are several reasons why dental-related headaches occur:

TMJ Disorders

The temporomandibular joint is like a sliding pivot that connects your jawbone to your skull. Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD) means that this pivot is not working properly. Symptoms include chewing issues, clicking noises from the joint, jaw pain, and headaches.

Trauma

Dental trauma, especially when joint and nerve damage occurs, can result in dental-related headaches.

Bite Misalignment

When your top and bottom teeth or jaws don’t line up the way they should, it can cause discomfort, including headaches.

Dentists are maxillofacial specialists, and they administer BOTOX with expert ease—sometimes in conjunction with other treatments and sometimes alone.

If you’re experiencing headaches, don’t suffer through the pain. Make an appointment at our Twin Falls, ID dental office to find out if you’re a candidate for BOTOX headache therapy. Our expert staff can answer any questions.
